How male teachers can help to challenge gender roles in nursery school education Recent figures show that there is still a large gender gap in recruitment to the teaching profession – only 38% of secondary school teachers are male, and 26% in primaries. In preschools – or nursery – it’s even worse. According to OECD data, the highest Read more…

Sales marketers, advertisers and politicians are masters of manipulating our cognitive bias towards the familiar. And the familiar doesn’t have to be factual to become the accepted truth.

Oddly, complaining about it can do the opposite to what is desired, as it repeats the original lie. This is a propaganda coup, since getting people to ask if something is the truth (were the Twin Towers destroyed by planes?) actually reinforces that it is the truth.

All it takes to remove the lie is to follow the same tactic of repetition to put facts back in the position of truth.

There is an increasing trend of professional journals to ban studies that do not confirm to political correctness. We believe that professional journals should concentrate on peer reviews, not on whether something is politically acceptable. Without the willingness to be extreme, and to reveal uncomfortable truths, we would still be thinking the earth is flat, Read more…

DARVO (deny, attack and reverse victim and offender) is a tactic often used by narcissists and other characterologically disturbed individuals. The United Nations say that 94 percent of minors in bondage worldwide are male.
If 94% of imprisoned children were female, that would be a huge gender issue and proof of the oppression of women. So, which sex is it that is being oppressed in the world?

What is a man? That is the question I am required to address.
Let us replace the question “what is a man?” with the command “be a man!”. Now we cannot deny that there is real content to that command, as any man subject to it will know.
This male genetic filter mechanism is the ground-zero of male disposability. All specific manifestations of male disposability are, I claim, consequences of it. This is rather a bold claim given that, in the case of humans, many of the manifestations of male disposability are highly culture specific.

This International Men’s Day, appreciate the men in your life and thank them.

To those not well versed in the manner in which policy narratives have changed in the last dozen years, prepare yourselves for the radical revision of the meaning of the word “equality” which is now politically and judicially established.
Do not imagine that these are mere philosophical niceties without import in the real world. On the contrary, they have a profound impact on the lives of at least hundreds of thousands of people annually.
…But conceding the “gendered nature” of domestic abuse perpetuates the myth that domestic abuse is overwhelmingly perpetrated by men upon women, that women perceive the harm of such abuse far more acutely than do men, and that domestic abuse is specifically a tool used by men to maintain patriarchal power and control over women.
All these claims are refuted by empirical evidence…
This is lamentably by no means the only reason to be concerned that long-cherished principles of justice are now being overturned. But that’s another story and I’m out of time.
